Compress first, resize when needed
Image compression reduces file size by changing how image data is encoded. Resizing changes the pixel dimensions. If an image is physically larger than needed, resizing often has the biggest effect.
ConvertZiva's image tools support JPG, PNG, and WebP workflows up to 12 images, with each image up to 10 MB.
Avoid extreme settings
Very low quality settings can create visible artifacts, especially around text and sharp edges. A moderate quality setting is often better than chasing the smallest possible file.
For transparent graphics, be careful when converting to JPG because transparency must be flattened onto a background color.

Does compression always reduce size?
No. Some images are already optimized, and converting them may produce little change or even a larger file.
