Start with the order
Merging PDFs is mostly about order. Place files in the sequence you want before creating the combined document, then open the result and check the first and last pages.

Common reasons merging can fail
Some PDFs are encrypted, malformed, or built with unusual features. Browser-local merging can reject those files instead of trying to repair them silently.
If the merged PDF becomes too large, try compressing the final PDF or reducing image-heavy source files before merging.
